Opportunity for Carvers!

The North Alabama Woodcarvers Association is hosting two carving classes in conjunction with the 2025, 41st North Alabama Woodcarvers Association’s(NAWA) Mid-South Carving Show and Competition. Blake Lunsford will conduct a two-day caricature carving class on October 28 and 29, 2025 and Josh Walters will conduct a three-day caricature candle carving and painting class on November 3-5, 2025. Sign up early to reserve  your spot in the class.  Your spot is not secure until money is received, first come first served. Below is the information about each class:

 

Blake Lunsford, October 28, and 29, 2025, caricature carving from roughouts

- Location, Oak Park Baptist Church, 2105 Cloys Avenue NE, Huntsville, AL 35811.

- Price of two-day class is $110.00 + cost of roughout.

- Roughouts will be purchased at the class. Most for $20.

- Class size 8 – 12 individuals.

- Closing date for reservations – 15 October 2025.

 

Josh Walters,  November 3-5, 2025, candle caricature carving and painting from blanks

- Location, Oak Park Baptist Church, 2105 Cloys Avenue NE, Huntsville, AL 35811.

- Price for three-day class is $160 + cost of blank.

- Blanks will be purchased at the class for $15.

- Class size 6-10 individuals.

- Closing date for reservations – 15 October 2025.

 

Student Cancellation: 

- Before Cutoff Date: Student fee will be refunded to the student. 

- After the Cutoff Date: Student fee will not be refunded.
